Last Wednesday ladies played with the wackers competition because a lot of Leeton ladies played Riverina championships at Griffith.
Janelle Sullivan from Leeton brought home the silver winning the Riverina Cup, best 54-hole Scratch, the Vedas Elbert Trophy, best 18-Hole scratch in the tournament and the Olive Iverach Trophy, 36-hole handicap veterans.
She won eight events and was runner up in another in the championships held over three days. Well done to Janelle Sullivan, A Grade champion.
Wednesday wackers winner was Anthony Rudd with 40 points on a C/B to Mathew Boots.
Pins: 4th David Dowling, 6th Bailey Stanmore, 13th Peter Kelly, 15th Mark Delgante. Ball comp went to 37 points.
Saturday men played split 6x6x6. Winners were Aaron Wooley and Mathew Boots 69 with runners up Frank Mercuri and Gordon Smith 63.

To win a ball 58 was the cut-off.
VETS
Vets on Monday played a stableford. First was Kelvin Green, second Don Piltz, third Ross Cantrill and fourth Jim Pilkington.
Pins: 4th Don Piltz, 13th Norm Harrison.
YANCO SOCIAL
Brian Southgate won Yanco social golf on the weekend with 44 nett while Ross Cantrill was runner-up, beating Ray Marks on a countback with 47.
Nearest the pin on the 4th and 7th was Cantrill, 6th and 13th Southgate and 15th Nick Rendina.
This weekend will be the September monthly medal with new players welcome.
Yanco social golf has been playing on Sunday mornings for 60 years, starting out as Bushy's (Yanco Abattoirs) and has produced several Leeton A grade champions such as Dom Fondacaro and Scott Wallace, who started with Yanco as juniors, as well as club pros Garry Beggs, Jason Mimmo and Bailey Stanmore.
Yanco social golf tees off from sunrise to 8am, but is thinking of moving the time to sunrise to 11am.
The group is looking for new members to keep it going for another 60 years.
