Chief Inspector John Wadsworth said following a number of incidents on the weekend, police would be keeping a further eye out for those who are doing burnouts and taking part in “street racing” in Leeton shire.
“There were a number of incidents on the weekend,” he said.
“This is dangerous behaviour.
“What we want from residents is to also keep an eye out for this.
“If you see these burnouts happening try and get the rego and pass it on to us.”
Chief Inspector Wadsworth said police would also be interested in viewing any footage from resident’s private CCTV outside their homes to help track down offenders.
If you think you can assist police, contact the Leeton station on 6953 1399.
