St Joseph’s Primary School will be holding its second annual colour run on November 4 and the whole community is invited to attend.
Last year was the first time the school’s P&F hosted the event and, following its huge success, decided to host another in 2018.
To be held at the St Francis College ovals, the colour run will involve more than just a lap or two.
Principal MaryJane Simms said there was already plenty of hype surrounding the event.
“I think we earned a great reputation last year because everyone had such a great time,” she said.

“The smiles on the faces … it was a really good day.
“People have experienced it once, so they know what they are in for.”
This year’s run will have more colour stations, so by the end it’s guaranteed participants will well and truly look like human rainbows.
There will also be a jumping castle, face painting, barbecue breakfast, coffee vendor, live music, slushies, bubbles and more. Money raised will go back into the school for various projects.
“It’s really focused on family fun,” St Joseph’s P&F president Julianne Dowling said.
“We want everyone to come out and have a great day.
“You don’t have to have any ties to the school. It’s for the whole community to be involved in.”
Registrations on the day will be from 9am, but getting in earlier will save you money.
Registration forms are available at the school and at businesses sponsoring the event.
