In the game at Mark Taylor Oval, Yanco Cricket Club Stags made the brave move to send L&DCC Blue into bat.
Scott McDonald and Antony Tocin made a good start for the Ferrets with a 20-run opening stand before Jason Burke struck to remove McDonald (9) when he was caught behind by Anthony Mandaglio.
Tocin and Dan Hyde pushed on with a 57-run stand for the second wicket to push L&D Blue towards a competitive total before Danyon Evans (1/5) struck to remove Hyde (39) to have the Ferrets on 2/77 after 11.3 overs.
The L&D side continued to score at a decent rate before Tocin (38) was dismissed by Burke (2/19) and after the fall of Tocin, Blake McDonald (7*) was the only other batsman to trouble the scorers as the Ferrets reached 5/110 after 18 overs.
While the Stags lost Mandaglio (0) early when he was dismissed by Dylan Browne (1/27) but Jason Burke (30) was able to get the Stags moving in the right direction before Andrew Burke (25*) and Danyon Evans (20*) were able to guide their sides to a seven-wicket win with 28 balls remaining.
In the game in Narrandera, after winning the toss, L&D Yellow decided to bat first which looked an interesting choice when they lost Peter Lashbrook (0) and Caleb Watson (0) early in the innings.
Mat Axtil (23) and Rhett MacGregor (21) got the L&D side back on track, however, the bowling of Dylan Whiteman (3/10), Tom Butterfield (2/11) and Brodie Perram (2/23) help to restrict the run scoring.
Dylan McKellar (15) added some late runs to see L&D Yellow reach 8/90 after their 20 overs.
Narrandera made a tough start to their innings as well when Maclean Crompton (2/16) dismissed Ash Cabban with the first ball of the innings.
Dillion Penhall (35) and Butterfield (21*) lead the charge for the Carpheads while Connor Vearing (12) chipped in as well to see their side come away with a five-wicket win.
LSC Colts won their match against Yanco Cricket Club Phantoms on a forfeit.
