Players will have from Christmas Eve until January 20 next year to get their Round 13 game in before settling into the final half of the season.
It’s also a great opportunity to get a few spare cards in.
Round 10 saw 192 starters take place with Beau Block from Tee’d Off the “player of the week” with a corking 30 nett which is a solid score as the yellow tees have been a little further back than normal of late.
Blocky’s also only played a few rounds and needs to get out on the course a bit more often because the Kid can seriously play!
John Hindmarsh was also worthy of a mention with a beautiful 31 nett and Beryl Coelli, Mick Burton, Mason Dryburgh (eagled 14th), Rory Walker, Joey Tripodi were solid with four under Par 32s.
Dryburgh also put on a show on Sunday carrying the pro and Will Wakeman in the three-person ambrose, Wakeman was poor to say the least!
The ball comp got out to 35 for the first time this season.
Team of the round honours went to the Crowaholics on 172 nett one clear of Balls Deep and four clear of Tee’d Off and the Munchhausens.
Swig n Swing, The Whymees and Murrami Magic also had solid Rounds all breaking the team of 180.
The course is open for twilight golf as per normal this week with players reminded to Slip, Slop, Slap and stay hydrated whilst out on course.
