Now, the Carpheads have bounced back, winning three of their last four matches.
Narrandera’s resurgence has been a patient one, with the side working on gelling as a team and putting in a well-rounded performance.
Luck has also played a part as it sometimes does in the game of cricket, but the Carpheads will into the break a heavy of making the 2018-19 one-day final.

This weekend will be the final round of matches before the Christmas and New Year break.
Narrandera will be taking on the L&D CC Ferrets in a Twenty20 match on Saturday at Mark Taylor Oval, which will provide them with another solid opportunity for victory.
The two sides last met in a 40-over match on November 24, with Narrandera taking the spoils on that occasion.
The Ferrets will be searching to get their season on track with a win heading into the break.
In the other A grade game, the LSC Colts will need to focus on putting in an all-round effort if they are take a victory over the in-form Yanco Cricket Club.
The Colts failed with the bat last weekend to hand them a loss when the game had been in the palm of their hand.
For Yanco, the Stags will be looking to keep cruising along with another victory to add to their bag of many already this season.
With Saturday the final matches of the year, cricket will return next month in A grade on January 12 with a one-day match, followed the next day with the 40-over grand final.
