The couple celebrated their diamond anniversary late last week and over the weekend with family and friends.
It was on December 13, 1958 that Mr and Mrs Fell were married at St Peter’s Anglican Church in Leeton by Reverend Lindsay Redmond.
The couple still live in Leeton having had three children and now are proud grandparents to seven grandchildren.
Mrs Fell said the pair had enjoyed spending time with family and friends to celebrate.
“We’re quiet couple, we don’t like too much attention,” she said.
“We’ve had a good life together.
“It’s been wonderful.”

Mrs Fell said she remembered her wedding day as being a “good time” and quite warm given it was in December.
The couple are among several others in Leeton shire who also celebrated their 60th wedding anniversaries this year.
The traditional stone or gift for the milestone event is a diamond.
Mrs Fell said there was no one secret to staying married for six decades.
“You just have to be kind to one another and be good to yourself,” she said.
