The top of the crop for the club’s younger members included Josh Garlick, Jai Patten, Roan Patten, Lachlan Holden and William Holden.
Throughout the year they, and their fellow club members, have participated in various races and events, with Josh and Jai both picking up a first each in their respective divisions.
Club member Andrew Patten it was pleasing for the youngsters to achieve top results throughout the year.
“These ones were probably the best performing juniors for the club this year,” he said.
“I think most of the time they obviously want to get a place when they race, but a lot of the time they just want to get out there and race and have fun.
“It’s good to see them doing well.”
The Leeton Motorcycle Club is hopeful of attracting even more junior riders to the organisation next year.
“We probably don’t have as many juniors as we once did, so it would be good to see a few more faces out there,” Patten said.
Each year the club’s members participate in several competitive events throughout the year.

This includes the Wanabrook Series, Leaping Log and more.
The club encompasses many different forms of racing and there is also a social aspect to the organisation as well.
Patten said parents with children wanting to take up racing shouldn’t be concerned.
“It’s really no different to any other sport,” he said.
“This year I don’t think I saw any big injuries like a broken leg or anything like that.
“It’s all in a controlled environment.”
Being part of the club is one of the biggest benefits of having children sign up to take part, according to Patten.
“The kids make a lot of new friends, not just with the ones here in Leeton, but from other surrounding clubs too,” he said.
“Parents also get together, it’s a real family atmosphere.
“Everyone gets to catch up at the different races, so it’s really good.”
