The 14th run will leave Darlington Point bright and early at 6am on Thursday before heading towards Griffith.
The first overnight stop is later that night at Cunnamulla before the fleet of trucks all laden with hay arrive in Quilpie on Friday around lunch time.
Leeton will again be represented on the run, which continues to gain both national and international attention as it delivers the hay to farmers in desperate need thanks to the brutal ongoing drought conditions.
This year Leeton shire’s Sandi Jones, Buster and Sue Ryan and Peter and Lynne Irvin will all be making the trek.
Ms Jones said that wasn’t the shire’s only contribution, with others working hard to cut and donate hay to be delivered.
“Hundreds of man hours have gone into cutting, raking, baling, loading and transporting hay to local storage points,” she said.
“Roughly 600 bales of hay have been donated – that’s about 18 trailers.
“(There have been) donations of hay from Brian Kefford, Craig Kefford, Scott Kefford, Stuart Butler, Gary Knagge, Sam Mancini and Paul Moon.”
The baling of hay was also undertaken by several farmers and businesses in the area.
Trucks from Leeton shire have also been donated for use in the run.
Each run has been organised by former Leeton shire resident Brendan Farrell and his band of helpers.
Their main aim continues to be helping those farmers in dire need feed their stock and keep their businesses going.
Other items that will help these farmers are also being taken on the run.

“We are also taking a pallet of dog food and a pallet of chook food,” Ms Jones said.
“We are extremely grateful for all the help we have received from Leeton and surrounding areas.”
Around 150 trucks are expected to leave Darlington Point on Thursday morning, with about another 100 expected to join them along the way at Cobar, Bourke and Cunnamulla.
