Through my eyes – Australian Landscape launched last night and is on display each day from 10am to 4pm until February 10.
The exhibition will feature framed works on paper and canvas.
These works are a unique perspective of the Australian Landscape in acrylic and mixed media. Over 25 works will be on show.
Ann grew up in Leeton and has a studio/gallery where she teaches art classes and displays her work.
Travels around Australia and particularly local landscapes have influenced Ann’s work.
Ann is known for capturing the essence of a location through the layering of many media forms.
She often paints “plein air” which Ann says gives her emotional attachment to the location.
“I create a response to my subject through the feeling it evokes in me,” Ann said.
I create a response to my subject through the feeling it evokes in me.
