The victim found his white Nissan ablaze late on Sunday evening.
It was fully engulfed by flames and not recoverable. Police are investigating.
Police issue warning
LEETON officers have warned residents to lock up their belongings, particularly their motor vehicles following several thefts in the past week.
Belongings left in vehicles should also be removed to avoid being detected by thieves.
Murrumbidgee Police District Chief Inspector John Wadsworth said several reports had been made to police about unknown people loitering around vehicles and peering inside.
In once case, sunglasses and watches were stolen from vehicles earlier this week.
