Gypsy Miss ($4.20) led all the way to claim the $10,000 Coprice Leeton Cup Benchmark 58 Handicap (1600m) for Canberra trainer Luke Pepper and apprentice jockey Courtney Gravener.
Wagga pair Hangin' With Willy ($9.00) and Zarvalante ($8.00) filled the minor placings.
Pepper was pleased to see his mare make it three wins on the trot.
"She's done a super job since I got her from Queensland," Pepper said.
"She's had four starts for three wins and one placing so she's doing a really good job.
"Obviously she was back in grade from her last couple of wins but we were trying to get three on the trot for her and it worked out perfectly.
"It was a gun ride from Courtney too, from the outside alley."
Gypsy Miss arrived at Pepper's stable earlier this year for clients Gold Class Racing.
"She was bought to be a broodmare," he said.
"She's well bred and now has won well over $100,000 in prizemoney, which is a big bonus for her. She's doing a great job."
Pepper said the Leeton Cup looked the perfect race for her.
"I thought it was a good target for her at the mile," he said.
"With Courtney's two kilo claim, she gets in well at the weights and the owners weren't fussed about dropping back in grade.
"It was a great day. I was amazed by the facilities and the way it was set up and how the track was. It was a good day all around."
Gravener finished with a winning double after scoring on Stardux ($4.00) for Todd Smart in the last.
Tyler Schiller continued a strong start to his riding career with a win on Bezazzlled ($3.00) for Phil Sweeney. He also finished second in the Cup on Hangin' With Willy.
Trevor Sutherland had success with a win to Yawkey Way ($5.00).
