"The further west you go in NSW the more neglect there is," Mr Langfield said.
"It's just total neglect by the major political parties."
His big bugbear is water policy, which he says has been going downhill for decades with no sign of slowing down.

He looks back fondly on the days before the Murray Darling Basin Plan and the Water Act 2007, back when town like Griffith were rapidly increasing in size.
"Look at the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area, look at what that's done for Griffith; it's a beautiful place," Mr Langfield said.
"It's out in the middle of semi-desert, but with water look what it can do."
His other election priority is freedom of speech, which is important to him as a conservative Christian.
He claims the free speech of Christians is being gagged, pointing to the angry public reaction to comments made by rugby player Israel Folau.
"He didn't accuse anyone personally; he was attacked simply because he quoted from the bible," Mr Langfield said.
"Freedom of speech is paramount in our nation. If we don't have freedom of religion we'll be nothing more than a dictatorship."
Other election priorities include better infrastructure, such as schools and hospitals in rural areas.
If the government has enough cash to splash on a temporary football stadium in the cities, he says, then surely they can spare some change for infrastructure projects in the bush.
But he says both Coalition and Labor governments have neglected the bush, which is why he's running in this election as a minor party.
His party runs on a platform of "Christian values", but he'll be hoping his platform of more water and services for the bush resonates with voters of all stripes when they head to the polls on May 18.
