United will be taking on the Camden Falcons Football Club on Sunday morning, but they won't be taking their full-strength team along for the road trip.
Several players are unavailable due to work commitments and injury, but Alampi was still looking forward to the challenge ahead.
"It would be great to be going in at full-strength, but what can you do," Alampi said.
"Those who are going definitely want to win and progress throughout the competition."
Leeton United had been scheduled for play St Mary's, also from Sydney, a fortnight ago but the away side forfeited in the day's leading up to the match.

This weekend Leeton was scheduled to play South Wagga at home on Sunday afternoon, but that match will now be deferred.
At this stage the game may be played in Leeton at No. 2 Oval in the middle of next week.
However, Alampi said nothing was confirmed at this stage.
"We definitely would prefer to play it mid-week then having to double up over a weekend," he said.
Going into State Cup matches is always different compared to regular competition games.
Opponents and players aren't as well known to each other, but Alampi said that was all part of the "fun" in it.
"I'll probably sit down after training (on Thursday night) and just do a bit of a search on Camden, read some newspaper articles, maybe find out who some of their top scorers are," Alampi said.
"For us we'll be approaching the match a bit differently, but in some ways the same as we always do.
"I'd say we'll go in and play the way we usually do to start the game off and then maybe start changing things up a bit.
"It's a good opportunity to test a few things out and try different plays or structures."
