Speaking to The Irrigator, the spokesman said the company has yet to say which stores across Australia will be closing.
"The Reject Store has announced seven of its 357 across Australia will be closing, however have not released information as to which stores these are," he said.
The uncertainty comes after a loss of up to $2 million predicted this year for the company.
The store is expected to run at a loss of $1 million to $2 million in 2019 and chief executive Ross Sudano will leave the company.

"This has been an extremely challenging period to be operating a retail business and the retail sector as a whole," Mr Sudano said.
He credited lower consumer confidence, flat wages, changing spending patterns and the rise in energy costs.
