However, Bench Warmers proved too good - winning 5 to 4.
Captain Brett Collins must be happy with how his team is playing.
Craig Willis, promoted to the number one spot following his easy victory last week, didn't let his captain down winning 44 to 24.
The team's second win came from Brett Collins who couldn't do a thing wrong, with his opponent helping him along the way.
Father and son, Scott and Noel Williams, gave their team a great boost winning both of their singles games.
The Auto Gear team will have to lift its game to have a chance this year but never take the Auto Gear team lightly because they have some very good players.
Jason Schmidt is one of them, recording another easy win. Their final victory came from Michael McColl who has proved a great addition to the team, winning more games than losing.
The Leeton Soldiers Club side took on a new-look Griffith xxxxperts team on Thursday night.
With two of its players away on holiday, they had to call on one of the best players in the country (that's right in the country) to help them out so the Leeton club had no chance.
Shaun Gras was put into the number one position and didn't let the Griffith side down, beating one of Leeton's best.
Jason McGee, who has been playing very well in a lot of tournaments Australia-wide, didn't hold back giving his opposing player a flogging 101 to 1, with a 50 break.
Ross Trimbolie had an easy 30 point win, while veteran Allan Flack must be doing a lot of training on his own table claiming a one-sided victory.
Charlie Miller scored his team's last win by 16 points.
The Leeton club's only singles victory came via the ever-reliable Andrew Oram just winning by a slim four points and with that win, he gets the player of the week award.
