The Crows travelled to Ganmain Sportsground on Saturday to face Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong in the hopes of winning their third consecutive victory.
The A grade side had defeated Turvey Park and the Griffith Swans before the club bye on June 8.
However, while the break was good for many to rest up and recover from niggling injuries, the Crows were unable to get over the line against the Lions, who ran out 46-35 victors.

The nine-goal loss to the fourth-placed side will still give the Crows confidence as they move deeper into the season.
A place in the finals is not out of the question for the young team, who are sitting in seventh position, but are on equal points with both fifth and sixth-placed sides in Coolamon and Griffith.
This weekend they return to Leeton Showground where they will take on the Coolamon Hoppers, with a victory vital to skip ahead on the ladder.
