Gralee has a newly approved specialist autism classroom, with trained and experienced teachers providing education and sensory programs that are individualised for each student.
The school's fundamental belief is that all children are capable of learning and with appropriate and well-trained support they may be able to move to mainstream schooling at some point. Gralee creates a personalised transition program, with a pick-up and drop-off service, using its school buses.
Gralee offers a range of school experiences and services for all students including Riding for the Disabled, weekly swimming lessons with trained Austswim teachers, and performing arts opportunities such as Shine, Leeton Eisteddfod and Schools Spectacular.
Gralee School works closely with specialist services such as speech therapy, physiotherapy and occupation therapy - often within the classroom - to provide students with every opportunity to reach personal and education goals.
The school is dedicated to preparing students to live in a changing and sometimes confusing world, providing a safe and secure learning environment that encourages close relationships between teachers, students and families.
