A staggering $4000 has been raised for the World's Greatest Shave, thanks to staff and students at Yanco Public School, as well as the wider community. The school had aimed to raise $750 before teacher Rachael McClymont shaved her locks for the cause and was overwhelmed by the donations.

Three Leeton police officers escaped injury during the early hours of Sunday morning when a shot was fired into their station on Oak Street. A projectile was fired into the station through a rear window at about 3.15am on Sunday.
