Leeton took on the Tumut Bulls in what was an important match for the Phantoms.
Going into the game, the side knew a victory was crucial in order to attempt to scrape through to this year's finals season.
Leeton must win every game from hear on out and that's exactly what they did on Saturday against the Bulls, bringing in the points thanks to a 22-15 scoreline.
It was a gritty display from Leeton, who remain seventh on the ladder.
Coach Seru Rogo had called on his players to step up and will now require that same effort this weekend against the fourth-placed Wagga City side.
The game will be played at No. 1 Oval, which should give the Phantoms an important edge.
