Emergency services were called to Leeton's Hickory Street about 1.30am on Thursday after reports of a vehicle on fire.
One truck from Leeton Fire and Rescue NSW attended to extinguish the blaze, with police also on the scene and will now carry out an investigation into the matter.
There was no one in the vehicle at the time of the fire.
Just as the firefighters thought they wouldn't have to go back into the frosty morning, Leeton Fire and Rescue was called to Griffith to attend a house fire.
The property, located in West Griffith, was destroyed by the blaze, but the owners were away at the time.
Leeton's hazmat truck was taken to the scene to provide support, particularly in relation to asbestos.
Residents have been reminded Leeton has several of its firefighters participating in the Firies Climb for MND later this year.
