The pair will soon embark on the Black Dog Institute's Hike for Mental Health in China in September.
For many months the pair have been raising the profile of the Black Dog Institute through their fundraising activities, which they have found to be fruitful for more than one reason.
Not only have they been raising vital funds for the organisation, which assists in all forms of mental health awareness, prognosis, treatment and prevention, but they will put themselves to the test physically.
The couple will be hiking the Great Wall of China where they will be no doubt find themselves confronted with physical and mental hardships throughout.
It isn't the first time the pair have undertaken such a task to raise funds for a cause they are passionate about.
In 2015 they cycled through Vietnam and Cambodia and are back again this year for another challenge.
The trip is hosted by Inspired Adventures.
While the pair are looking forward to strapping on their hiking boots on September 29 and getting the job done, they believe the work they have been doing in Leeton is much more important.

All of their fundraising goes directly to the institute and they pay their own way to China.
"For us it really is about raising that money, but by doing so raising awareness in our community here," Mr Smith said.
"At some of the events we've been having, people come up to you and tell you their story or they start chatting with their mates there about mental health.
"For us, that is what is most important."
The pair agreed they were inspired to take part in another adventure as it was a cause close to both of their hearts.
With the generous support they've received from the community, they hope the Black Dog Institute will soon have a bigger presence in the shire.
"It's such a great organisation," Ms Foote said.
"The work they do is just amazing."
The pair still have several fundraising events to come before they head off, but residents can also donate online here.
Their goal is to raise $40,000 and they are already sitting at more than $35,000.
