The new playground was completed recently and is Leeton Shire Council's second project as part of its playground strategy.
The first was in Wamoon and the next to be completed will be in Golf Course Estate.
Council's manager open space and recreation Josh Clyne said residents had been pushing for the project to happen for some time.
"The residents were keen for the new playground and also for the drain running through the park to be piped," he said.
"Both have been delivered ... the community decided on the type of playground built based on several different proposals presented."
The budget for the project was $50,000 (playground only), with the money allocated within council's 2018-19 budget.
