The Hawks and Greens will go head-to-head in a tantalising taste of what could very well be a preview of this year's grand final.
However, neither side are getting ahead of themselves, instead focusing their attention on this week before thinking about the start of the finals.
Yanco-Wamoon coach Monique Higgins believes defence will be critical this weekend.
"The Greens are a very good side, they are good in attack," she said.
"I think defence wins matches. You get that right and your attack flows.
"This is the first time Yanco has ever secured the minor premiership, but it will all be nothing if we don't perform over the coming weeks.
"This weekend will certainly be tough, but it's going to give us a good idea of where we're at against a quality side."

The Hawks will be heading in with an unchanged line up from recent weeks, while the Greens are also expected to be at full-strength, with the exception of Abby Favell, who will miss the game.
Leeton coach Paul McGregor said his side will be aiming to stick to their game plan and not worry too much about what the Hawks are doing.
"I think if we control what we're doing, complete our sets and follow our game plan, we'll be right," he said.
"We need to focus on the job at hand and just keep doing what we've been doing.
"We had a great session at training on Tuesday night.
"We'll have another one Friday and then Saturday as well. Just a bit of bonding.
"The girls are focused and ready to go."
