The team of Jan Munro, Barbara Gulotta, Lorraine McKellar and Laurel Cox travelled to Lockhart last Tuesday for their tournament day and although they weren't winners, the ladies came home with glowing stories about the good time had.

Barbara did manage to win a spider!
After several attempts to get our fun day underway, it eventually took place last Wednesday with all players having to be physically fit along with being mentally alert.
Quite a challenge with the clock calling an end to play a few ends short of the proposed target. Winners were Lee Noble and Betty Howard, the runners-up Coila Murray and Val Bloem. A big thank you must go to Margaret Noad for coming up with the idea and rules of play, it's good for the game to try out something different!
Griffith Women's Bowling Club is holding its tournament day today and we have a team attending, hopefully mastering the synthetic green. Tomorrow, weather permitting ends will commence at 9.40am with play to start from 10am.
