Leeton Shire Council has been successful in gaining the money as part of a start-up grant through the Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF).
This is an initiative of the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) and the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation.
The idea of the hub will be to create a central point for the groups to share in community resources, skills, knowledge and equipment.
It will also provide the opportunity to engage in consultations and workshops.

Leeton now joins Moree, Junee, Nambucca Valley and Tumut in successfully gaining funding as part of the IRCF program.
Sue Gavel was one of those leading the charge to secure the funding.
"This grant is a stepping stone to applying for the $5 million, which will be shared by three out of five shorted listed communities in NSW," she said.
"The next step is to apply for this new grant and further consult with the Leeton Connect community, while working closely with FRRR."
IRCF program manager Alli Mudford said the Leeton project was all about taking action to address known challenges the groups face such as communication, governance, training and planning.
"It was great to see Leeton community groups come together to put forward one application for the grant as a united not-for-profit sector," she said.
"I admire how much work has gone into Leeton's application and the very professional community video as part of the submission.
"Leeton has a strong history of pulling together when they need to. Given the extent of the drought at the moment, the importance of not-for-profits working together to look after their communities is critical."
FRRR will now work closely with the Leeton community over the next six months to assist in putting in for more successful grant funds and putting projects into action.
