Davan Alan Bradshaw, 39, handed himself in to police on Saturday night after authorities discovered a 47-year-old man's body at a fire-damaged house in Rockhampton on August 15.
Bradshaw knew his victim, police say.
He did not appear as his matter was heard in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday and did not make a bail application.
