In the Singles Championships, Janet Bell took the lead early. Helen gave it her best, gaining some shots but Janet held on to claim the title, winning 25/14.
The winners of social bowls were Elaine Sullivan and Heather Hoad from Cowra. Heather has just joined our club and we welcome her with open arms. There were no resting touchers and Janet Bell won the lucky draw.
A busy week ahead for L&D ladies. Today we have a triples team travelling to compete in Ganmain's tournament. On Thursday, there is a team of 4s going to Hay, and a large number of players will travel to West Wyalong for a two-day tournament, played over the weekend.

A glorious spring day for the final of the Drawn Fours. The team of Jan Munro and Lorraine McKellar got away to a great start, however, Joan Dale and Betty Howard picked up five shots on the 9th end putting them right back in the game. Scores see-sawed, with L.McKellar's team hanging on to run out winners 19/14. Winners on the day were Jan Munro and Lorraine McKellar. Runners-up; Shirley Middleton, Margaret McKenzie and Marie Stiller. Resting Toucher was Margaret McKenzie.
We have a team playing in Ganmain today and another team playing in Hay on Thursday.
