A TEENAGER will face children's court on Tuesday after a man was stabbed in Leeton on the weekend.

Police have been told two men, aged in their 30s, were walking along Wirilda Street about 3pm on Saturday, September 14, when they were approached by a teenage boy.
The boy allegedly knocked one of the men to the ground before threatening the second man with a knife.
Police said he allegedly demanded property and money from the pair, before stabbing one of the men in the chest and fleeing.

The man sustained minor injuries to his chest as a result and was treated by paramedics.
Officers from the Murrumbidgee Police District commenced an investigation and, following inquiries, the 17-year-old boy was arrested when he attended Leeton Police Station on Monday, September 14.
He has now been charged with robbery with offensive weapon and being armed with intent to rob.
The boy was refused bail and is due to appear before a children's court on Tuesday.
