To recognise this, staff at the RFBI Leeton Masonic Village were recently part of the Health Services Union's "thank you for working in aged care" campaign earlier this month.
Staff enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea as they took the opportunity to put their feet up, if only for a couple of minutes.

"There is a lot of negative media coming out of the Royal Commission and this can be very disheartening for people working in aged care," Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution CEO Frank Price said.
"I want all of our staff to know that we appreciate their commitment and dedication to our residents and clients and value the wonderful care they are providing.
"Having a stable workforce ensures our residents and clients receive high quality care from people they know."
Leeton was one of 22 residential care villages took time out to celebrate the great care and services the team provides.
RFBI Leeton Masonic Village general manager Judith Dahlenburg said her staff were the best in the business.
"I have been working at the village for nine years and I am very proud of the work staff do," she said. "We have a special community here and have a great relationship with the community, so it is a happy place to work."
