Women in Leeton will now have a unique group at their disposal where they will be able to connect with other like-minded ladies in the community, as well as take part in events, workshops and share advice and tips.
Leeton Women in Business is aiming to be an organisation that helps women grow and reach their goals.
Co-ordinator Jodie Ryan said the idea to form the group came about around three years ago.
"At a dinner recently a few of us decided to formalise (the idea) a little more as we want to bring guest speakers and run workshops and these things cost money," she said.

Ms Ryan and several others have been interacting with a similar group in Wagga, which is why they decided to jump into the deep end and get the ball rolling for Leeton.
"The main goal of the Women in Business group is for women in Leeton to have an outlet to network, learn and grow," Ms Ryan said. "We would like to put on one event every month and others when things pop up.
"We have some breakfast events locked in with Manuela Gatt from the Hungry Fox wanting to host an event and also Rachel Lashbrook has come forward as NAB bank would love to get involved and host an event."
The group is also in the process of putting together a "feel good, feel confident" afternoon as part of the membership price.
"Our Leeton Women in Business is a little different to others," Ms Ryan said.
"We encourage retirees, as we can all learn from their experiences, school leavers, who can always gain knowledge from others already in the workforce, and women also wanting to get back into the workforce after having a family.
"All women working in business are welcome. Not just business owners."
Leeton Shire Council has also jumped on board the initiative, donating $500 to the group to help get it started.
Women interested in joining the group can now sign up by emailing Ms Ryan at jryan@becadvice.com.au, phoning 0413 593 482 or contacting the Facebook page under the name "Leeton women in business".
