The festival is a continuation of the Leeton Country Roundup with a different name, but all the same events that Leeton locals have grown accustomed to over the years.
The main events will be held over the weekend, however the first festivities kicked off on Wednesday with a smoko and talent show at the Leeton Jockey Club.
The day continued with a beginners line dancing lesson followed by a night of song and dance broadcast live by 2MIA community radio.
The festivities continue this Friday, with visitors to Leeton given a whirlwind tour of the region's wineries, including Whitton Cotton Gin, Lillypilly Wines, and Toorak Wines.
About 100-odd caravans from all over Australia are expected to come to Leeton throughout the course of the country music festival.
On Thursday race-goers drummed up excitement for the Melbourne Cup at a "Pre-Cup Fun Afternoon", featuring a hat competition and a games night.
It was followed by a open mic fun night featuring a lively assortment of games, music, poetry, dancing, country music trivia, comedy, and karaoke.

At 7.30pm on Friday there will be an even bigger party night at the Leeton Jockey Club featuring the musical talents of Sharon Benjamin.
The country music festival will well and truly pick up at 10am on Saturday, when the doors open at the jockey club for the main stage concert.
The grand finale will take place on Sunday, starting off at 7.30am with a poet's breakfast featuring live readings from local writers.
Then at 10am the jockey club doors will open for the main stage finale day concert, which will feature the musical stylings from local country music artists.
Organiser Mark Hillier said the music festival was only made possible by the hard work and generosity of the Leeton community.
"The Leeton community and the surrounding towns are fantastic," Mr Hillier said. "They are so supportive every year, especially now in times of hardship because of the drought."
The money raised from the event will go to Leeton's Volunteer Rescue Association squad.
