The Narrandera side won the toss and made the brave decision to bowl first they were able to pick up the early wicket of Matt Robertson (3) who fell to the bowling of Jack Rilen (1/21) in the third over with the score on 14.
Bryce Rogers and Mathew Axtill looked to rebuild their innings and were able to get to 56 at the start of the seventh over before Rogers fell to the bowling of David Cato (1/26).
The wicket of Rogers would be the last bit of success the Carpheads would taste as the Ferrets ran away with the game over the next 13 overs.
Noah Maybon joined Axtill out in the middle with the pairing able to put on 93 runs with Axtil (78) posting his half-century at nearly a run a ball while Maybon (35) was able to play an excellent supporting role to see the Ferrets finish on 2/149 off their 20 overs.
While Narrandera was able to make a fast start, wickets started to fall at regular intervals with Rilen (0) falling to Bryce Collins.
Connor Vearing fell in the following over to the bowling of Dylan Browne (1/5) before Collins found himself on a hat-trick with the wickets of Conor Smith (0) and Jake Grant.
The Carpheads were able to keep the hat-trick ball out, but their success was short-lived.
Cato and Jack Sergeant (4) were able to put on 12 runs before Collins took a catch off the bowling of Maybon (1/5) to see Sergeant heading back to the pavilion.
Cato continued to score but after putting on 16 runs with Brodie Perram the Carpheads but as the rain started to fall Perram (5) was run out by Browne and with play eventually called off with Cato (21*) and Patrick O'Donnell (2*) stranded seeing the Ferrets take the win.
The rain meant the A grade game between the Ferrets and the Yanco Cricket Club called off without a ball being bowled.
Next weekend will see L&D take on Narrandera in A grade while Yanco will take on the Ferrets in B grade. Both games will be played at Mark Taylor Oval with action starting at 1pm.
