After winning the toss and sending the Stags into bat, the Ferrets may have been regretting that decision with a solid start from Jason Burke and Jock Yelland at the top of the order for Yanco.
The Stags were able to score at 10 runs per over for the first four and posted 0/46 at the end of their first six overs with Burke leading the way.
The pair continued to score at a good rate with Burke (57) posting his fifty before being run out by Tyler O'Connell which triggered a collapse for the Stags.
Yelland (14) was caught behind off the bowling of Rhett MacGregor five runs late before the Yanco side lost six wickets for 16 runs with MacGregor (3/6) and Adrian Axtill (3/11) to see the Stags sitting at 7/95 with five overs remaining in their innings.
Blake McDonald claimed the wicket of Vincent Edwards (2) and while Dan Hillam (8) was able to make a start before McDonald (3/16) brought the Stags innings to a close on 106 as they were bowled out in the final over.
While the Ferrets were able to score 10 off the first two overs, the L&D side found themselves in trouble with Yelland (1/7) claiming the wicket of O'Connell (0) while Hillam claimed Rhett MacGregor (7) and Matt Robertson (0) in the space of two deliveries.
Hilliam (3/17) continued his good bowling with the wicket of Bryce Rogers (3) before the Ferrets started their fightback with Peter Lashbrook and Richard Smith at the crease.
The pair were able to put on 17 runs before Lashbrook (4), and Maclean Crompton (4) fell to the bowling of Jason Burke (2/16) to see the Ferrets sitting on 6/39 with 7.2 overs remaining.
With the Ferrets 67 runs off the remaining 44 balls, Axtill and Smith used there to get their side moving in the right direction to get their team to 64 before Smith (20) was bowled by Rohan Lacey (1/13).
Axtill (24) fell with their side needing 14 runs for victory off the final over and Blake McDonald (12*) and Scott McDonald (5*) were able to hit the winning runs with two balls remaining.
