The leisure and lifestyle team at the RFBI Leeton Masonic Village recently organised market stalls for their residents so they could enjoy Christmas shopping from the comfort of their own home.
Market stalls were set up in the village's courtyard with items from the Leeton Community Op Shop and St Peter's op shop.
This was the second year the village has organised such an event. Residents and their families found it an even better experience than last year.
"I think the market day was a beautiful gesture," said family member Maria Woolven.
"It gave residents the opportunity of selecting something as a gift for their family for Christmas." Residents and families also enjoyed the addition of a coffee van and doughnuts on the day.
They were also treated to delicious sweets from the village's coffee shop, which was run by volunteers from the Anglican Mothers Union.

Village general manager Judith Dahlenburg said the day was an opportunity to bring everyone together, while also having a real purpose behind the event.
"The market day was an absolute success," she said.
"It catered for our residents who are less mobile and they got to enjoy shopping with their families.
"We will definitely continue to hold a market day at our village for many more years to come."
