Trev Whitby and Gary Thompson paired up to take on Bryan Shepley and Matt Collins.
Whitby and Thompson went on to win the tussle 11-7, 6-11, 11-6, 12-10.
Sean Ryan and Nicholas Croucamp did battle with Dion DeMamiel and Alayna Croucamp in one of the best matches that we've seen in this iteration of the doubles competition.

Adele Thompson and John Gown combined to take on Katie McAliece and Lizette Taylor, with Thompson and Gown eventually winning the encounter 11-9, 6-11, 11-3, 11-6. Narelle Ryan and Tina Dunn had a good win against Naomi Rawle and Josh Hart 11-4, 11-4, 11-8. This gave team Oliver's a clean sweep for the night.
On court 2, Will Rawle and Brian Dunn combined to take on and defeat Declan Ryan and Brianna Gray-Mills 11-5, 9-11, 11-5, 11-4.
Siarne Deeves and Sarah McAliece paired up to take on Andre Holtzhausen and Tahlia Taylor; Deeves and McAliece winning 11-8, 11-5, 11-9.
Tahlia Taylor then paired up with Brendon Looby to take on Andre Holtzhausen and Simone Bruno; Taylor and Looby winning 11-7, 11-9, 11-8.
In the final match of the night, Callum Ryan and Brian O'Leary teamed up to take on Blayne Thompson and Anthony Iannelli, with Ryan and O'Leary winning 11-9, 11-8, 11-5.
Team Wilsons won the evening and is the current leader of the doubles competition.
