Throughout the year, Leeton Masonic Village residents enjoy regular visits from local schools, with students joining in activities, entertaining residents with their performances and just spending quality time together.
At the end of each year, there is also one special activity residents and school children both get excited about - the annual Christmas card competition.
This competition has been running for six years and in 2019 it involved 19 schools and 22 students from across NSW and ACT.

The theme this year was "Christmas around the world" and as always, selecting a winner was extremely hard in Leeton, according to village general manager Judith Dahlenburg.
"Our residents found the competition to be very difficult this year as the students all designed some spectacular cards," she said.
"To spice things up, this year RFBI expanded the competition to include an ornament competition, where school children were invited to create a Christmas ornament to hang on the village Christmas tree as part of a special festive celebration."
Wamoon Public School student William Morton was the winner of the Christmas card competition, while his school also took out the ornament section.
Both competitions were judged by residents and winners were awarded a $50 book voucher and certificate, with Wamoon Public also receiving a $100 book voucher.
