With parties and celebrations running across the region to bring in 2020, Murrumbidgee Police District duty officer Inspector Justin Cornes said while the police had some call-outs during New Year's Eve festivities, the overall behaviour of party-goers across the region led to a pleasing night.
"We were pleased with the behaviour of party-goers," Inspector Cornes said.
"The majority of people behaved themselves which created an enjoyable night."
Inspector Cornes said Murrumbidgee police officers were still focused on continuing with Operation Safe Arrival, which runs until midnight on New Year's Day.

Traffic and Highway Patrol Command Assistant Commissioner Michael Corboy said those who drank alcohol while celebrating the New Year should ensure they are not over the legal limit before driving on New Year's Day.
"We know many people celebrated New Year's Eve with alcohol, so do not get behind the wheel if you have been drinking," Assistant Commissioner Corboy said.
"Alcohol leaves the body slowly, which means you could very well still be over the limit today - have a Plan B and arrange to have a designated driver."
