The side entered last year's finals as arguably the league's form team with just one loss in their previous ten games.
However, after a comeback 3-2 win over Young in the first week of finals, their charge ended with a 2-0 loss to Henwood Park in the second week of their playoff campaign.
"We haven't really sorted our squad out for the year yet, but it looks to be a very similar line-up," senior coaching coordinator Scott Munro said.
"We may have lost one or two players but we still think we'll have a very strong squad to challenge the likes of Hanwood, Lake Albert and Henwood Park."

United also won't field a second grade women's team in the Madden Cup, opting to place their sole focus on their Leonard Cup top grade outfit.
"We're only looking at putting first grade women in this year," Munro said.
"We fielded the two teams last year, but this year we're looking to strengthen our Leonard Cup squad and just have the one team at this stage."
Frank Alampi will return as Pascoe Cup coach as United shoot for a first top grade championship since the 1993 season.
United president Rod Harrison was expecting a strong season based on 2019.
"Most players are returning and we may lose two players, but we are hopeful of (picking up) a couple of new players in the pipeline," he said.
"In other coaching news we are still talking to a couple of guys for reserve grade.
"Third grade will be coached by Frank Millemaggi,, one of our most experienced players who has a wealth of knowledge of the game."
Ladies coaches will be Paul Burley and Melinda Broard.
The women will be stepping up to the first grade competition this year.
