Hosted by the Ganmain Grong Grong Matong Junior Football and Netball Club (GGGMJFNC), the MIA endurance event allows professional and amateur triathletes to participate in a fun and friendly environment.
Open class winner and professional triathlete, Ryan Miller, will be unavailable for the this year's contest, as he is currently out of the state.
The men's field is also wide open, with Jake Bergman, 2019 male Riverina Tri-series winner, having relocated to Victoria.
The scene is set for a great day of racing as the absence of competition heavyweights encourages newcomers to try their hand at winning the title.
The unforgiving Open Sprint will start with a run around the Ganmain Sports Ground, followed by a 20 kilometre bike leg, a 150 metre swim leg and then a final five kilometre run leg.
The card will cater for all ages and abilities, with fun walks, individual sections and team events also available for entrants.
Registrations will be open until noon on February 1, on the event website at www.ganmaintriathlon.com.
