The LNPSSA round robin cricket competition took place at the start of this month in Leeton, with students from Parkview Public, Leeton Public, Small Schools and Narrandera Public all taking part.
In their first game LPS took on Small Schools, winning the toss and choosing to bat.
LPS made 85 from 20 overs, with Eli Doyle scoring nine, Luke Bechaz 10 and captain Ethan McDonald 20.
None of the LPS batters were dismissed, but were happy to share the overs among themselves.

In reply, Small Schools managed 15 from their 20 overs. The inexperienced players showed determination in the run chase, with LPS taking six of their wickets.
The win put LPS into the final with a chance to win the Terry McGrath Shield.
In the second match LPS played Parkview PS, who had defeated Narrandera PS in their opening game.
Parkview won the toss and chose to bat.
The LPS bowlers were tight and mostly accurate. Luke Bechaz used his quick reflexes behind the wickets, to stump four batsmen.
Eli Doyle took two wickets, with Ethan McDonald also bagging a double.
Ethan Lyons was the pick of the bunch, taking home four wickets of his own.
The PPS total was 37 after their 29 overs.
Leeton Public's opening batsmen were able to chase down the total within nine overs, with sundries also contributing a fair chunk to the chase.
This meant Leeton Public were able to claim the Terry McGrath Shield for the second consecutive year.
All the games were played with good spirit and sportsmanship.
The LPS team will now look forward to participating in the Brian Taber Shield, which will be played later this term.
The school is no stranger to this competition and will be working hard in the lead up to their first match to prepare and make sure they are ready to go.
Ethan McDonald, Eli Doyle and Luke Bechaz were also selected to try out for the Riverina representative cricket team.
