Temperatures have been known to swell well into late March.
For the last week of summer, Leeton shire residents can expect a top of 33 degrees on Monday and Tuesday.
This will be followed by 29 degrees on Wednesday, 27 on Thursday and 29 on Friday.

For the final day of summer in Leeton shire, the Bureau of Meteorology is predicting high of 31 degrees.
It has been a hot and tiresome summer in the shire, but thankfully residents have been spared the devastation of bushfires that were seen across much of NSW.
Smoke haze was something that hovered over the skies ahead for a chunk of the summer months, prompting warnings from the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
There were also several heatwave periods where residents experienced temperatures in the low to mid 40s for several days on end.
In recent weeks residents have enjoyed a solid drop of rain, with 70mm recorded for 2020 so far, compared to just 38mm for the same period last year.
The hottest day for this month was recorded on February 1 when the mercury reached 43.2 degrees.
January's hottest month was the day this, January 31, when residents lived through a sweltering 45.2 degrees.
While the last week of summer is predicted to be rather mild weather, residents shouldn't be expecting cool temperatures straight away during the early weeks of autumn.
The first week of March is expected to have temperatures in the mid-30s.
