With Joan Bourke playing a double lead, there was three games of triples played last week. Elaine Sullivan, Joan Bourke and Marika Pete played Janet Bell, Joan Bourke and Dian Colyer.
Elaine took the lead early but Janet got the upper-hand on the fifth end. Janet managed to hold the lead despite Elaine coming home strong in the last 3 ends, picking up 6 shots. Janet went on to win 18/16.
It was Janet's day, after leading her team to victory they were also the drawn winners on the day. Janet also achieved a resting toucher.
At the monthly meeting it was announced that the Towning Shield was cancelled due to lack of players. The next street stall for our SunRice Ambassador is on Friday and all donations are most welcome.
There will be a skills session held before play on Thursday.

A game of 3 bowl pairs was also played, with Lee Noble and Ann Chant narrowly defeating Kathie Marks and Betty Howard. Playing well on the day were McKenzie and Chant with a resting toucher each.
