On Friday the Leeton Soldiers Bridge Club handed over a $1000 donation to the Yanco-Wamoon Rural Fire Service brigade.

It was a donation brigade captain Pat O'Callaghan was extremely pleased to receive on behalf of his volunteer members.
"We are so grateful for this donation, which will be used for equipment that the RFS doesn't (currently) supply us," he said.
Yanco-Wamoon and brigades from throughout the MIA constantly sent members to fight the fires during the horror season.
The Leeton Soldiers Bridge Club was pleased the money would be put to good use and help out the shire's local volunteers.
