Here is how The Irrigator reported the match at the time:
THREE years in the making and the Leeton Greens have laid claim to the title of 2015 under 18s premiers.
The Greens defeated Yanco-Wamoon Hawks at the EW Moore Oval in Griffith on Sunday in a heated game of rivalry that ended with a victory, 22-14.
Leeton retained consistent ownership of the entire match, showing they were more than capable to pull together in order to defeat their antagonists when it mattered most.
Hostile tackling efforts by the Greens side left little room for the Hawks to take the lead at any time during the match.
The first try for the Greens was scored by Tristan Johnson.
The Greens led at the conclusion of half-time, 12-10.
The first-half of the finals game belonged to Leeton and the young side kept this going in the second. Quick passes and fast running kept the steady winning pace of the game.
