The Leeton Family and Local Historical Society has recently launched its latest book, which goes looks back at past Leeton SunRice Festivals, as well as the accompanying Ambassador Quest.
Titled Celebrating 50 Years of Leeton's Festivals and SunRice Ambassador Entrants 1970-2020, the book was put together following hours upon hours of research, information gathering and collation.
It had been due for release in time for the 2020 SunRice Festival, but this was pushed back after the event was cancelled amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The concept of publishing the book first came about during the 2018 festival when the historical society had a small display as part of the event, which showcased past festival winners.

There was plenty of interest in the display and the idea of the book was born.
The ball started to move quicker thanks for a grant from the Leeton SunRice Festival Committee, which helped to partially cover the costs of printing the book.
Society executive members Tony Reneker, Lyn Middleton, Karleen Reilly, Peter Middleton, Wendy Senti and Jeanette Petts were among those who assisted with the book, but most members pitched in to help in some form or shape.
In particular, four months of research was undertaken by Ms Petts and Mrs Senti.
Other members assisted in obtaining photographs or took copies of photos and assisted with the layout.
The finished product is something that will now make sure those 50 years of festivals and ambassador entrants won't be forgotten.
"We think it's come up really well," Mrs Senti said.
"There was a lot of hard work put in by everyone, so we hope it's something that the community picks up and is interested in.
"The festivals are definitely an important part of Leeton's history."
The book is now available to purchase at the Leeton Newsagency for $15.
Once COVID-19 restrictions are relaxed, it will be available at the library and Visitor Information Centre.
