The students, staff and their parents threw themselves into at home learning recently and, while they are now enjoying being back in the classroom, it's sure to be a period of time that will stay etched in their minds for a long time yet.
Students, their parents and carers committed themselves to not just completing school work set by teachers, but turning everyday moments into an opportunity to learn.
Yanco Public principal Tarnya Grigg said it had been inspiring to watch the students continue to grow and expand their minds while at home.
"It was fantastic to see the unique way learning was happening for each of our families," she said.
"Parents and carers have done a fantastic job setting up home learning spaces for their children to better their opportunity for learning at home.
"There are many new and varied skills our students have learned, which in the bigger picture will build young people who are capable and better able to adapt to change."
