The competition typically runs every year throughout the entirety of the winter months, but in 2020 it was shortened as a result of restrictions regarding community sport.
However, that didn't dampen the spirits of the young competitors.
Ninety players took part across the three age groups, with the competition held over eight weeks at the town ovals.
The competition involved skills training, as well as matches, with parents minds' put at ease thanks to a COVID safety plan and protocols being in place throughout that time.

Club member Scott Munro said Leeton United was pleased to be able to offer the competition to youngsters in what has been a strange period for sport in 2020.
"We're happy with how it went this year in a difficult (time) where at one stage it looked like we weren't going to be able to run a comp due to the restrictions," he said.
"We didn't nominate our usual junior rep teams (under 12s, 14s, 16s) that compete in the Griffith District Football Association this year due to COVID, so a few of those players took part in the local comp.
"We made some changes to the structure to accommodate for COVID restrictions, with some of the changes possibly becoming permanent in 2021."
These thoughts were also echoed by club president Rod Harrison.
"We were glad that we could organise a competition this year to give a opportunity for kids to learn, play and enjoy football," Harrison said.
"We hope to see you back next season and hopefully for a full season."
The club's attention now turns to the senior competition, with all four grades preparing to take part in the Football Wagga finals series.
Planning is also underway for the seven-a-side summer competition, as well as a futsal fixture in the new year.
