A MAN has allegedly thrown a table from a roof in Leeton's main street, causing damage to a car below.

The 18-year-old man was reported to be making a disturbance on the balcony of a premises in Pine Avenue on October 8 where he was throwing objects and allegedly threatening others.
Police said he threw a table from this balcony, which landed on a vehicle below, causing the windscreen to crack and a small dent in the bonnet.
It was then the alleged offender left the scene and police were called.
Officers discovered he had also damaged items in the room he was staying in at this location, including objects being smashed and food thrown around inside.

After investigating the scene, police were able to locate the man a short distance away where he was arrested and taken to the Leeton police station.
While there, police allege he damaged items in the charge room.
He was charged with two counts of malicious damage and one count of intimidation.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear in Leeton Local Court on November 10.
