Fast food
THERE has been a recent spate of parents/carers and other relatives delivering food and drinks from McDonald's to students and their friends through the school fence.
This practice is not at all appropriate or welcome.
The school has a great canteen with a huge range of different food options or alternately bring food and drinks from home. Thank you for your understanding and assistance in promoting appropriate health and safety practices at our school.

High potential and gifted education
LEETON High School's HPGE team has met with educators and school groups across NSW to share some of the opportunities on offer here at school that reflects our progress with the early adoption of the High Potential and Gifted Education policy, which will be a mandatory policy for all Department of Education schools across NSW from next year.
William Reis-Burke in year 9 was a wonderful spokesperson delivering information and responding to questions from the online audience.
William shared his interest in STEM and described the projects his class has undertaken since the commencement of our STEM elective class this year. William spoke confidently and clearly to the audience as part of our school's involvement as an early adopter school of the new High Potential and Gifted Education Policy.
